Aleda Winget is our Center Director at Happy Hall at Green Hills. Aleda comes to us with over 15 years of experience working in education, both teaching, and school management. She earned her BA at Occidental College in Los Angeles and her MA at Bond University in Brisbane, Australia. She took her child development classes at both Foothill and De Anza Colleges. Aleda worked at Club Green Hills in the Fall and Winter of 2017 before leaving to serve in the US Peace Corps in Ethiopia. She has returned to Happy Hall at Green Hills. She is so glad to see familiar faces and get to know the new ones.
Amanda has been in the Early Childhood and School-Age field for 8 years as an afterschool and preschool teacher in the city of South San Francisco. Amanda earned her Associates in Early Childhood Education from Skyline College and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Child Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University in 2016. Amanda has a passion for teaching children 2 years to 12 years old. She believes that children learn the best through play. In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, puzzles, movies, and spending time with family, including her dogs.
Anne has over 30 years of experience in the accounting field and has worked most of her career in corporate companies. This is her first experience in the education sector and she loves it. Anne is always willing to support the staff in any capacity and looks forward to participating in school events. Anne has a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Anne wakes up every morning with a grateful heart, and it shows in all of her actions. In her spare time, Anne loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is also active in Kali (Filipino martial arts).
Director of Accounting
Angelika has been in the Early Childhood field for 4 years and in the past worked as a support teacher in different schools in South San Francisco. She earned her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development in 2016 from Skyline College. Angelika has a desire to teach young minds through play and thinking experiences while bringing joy to children. She feels it is important to provide an environment that is healthy and stimulating for all children. Angelika is also passionate about raising cultural awareness and celebrating individual differences. In her free time, Angelika, loves to hang out with her friends and family.
Axenya starting working with children as a substitute teacher and joined our team in the summer of 2019. Aexenya is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Skyline College with plans to transfer to pursue her BA in social work. Axenya's focus is on the social-emotional development of children. She believes it is important to build a bond with her students in order to grow a relationship that allows trust. While understanding how life may become stressful, Axenua provides emotional support for her students. During her free time, Axenya enjoys hiking and exploring new places to eat.
Colleen is a Happy Hall alumni. She started attending camp when she was 5 years old, transitioned to being a Teen Leader and eventually Head Teen Leader. She is now a Lead Teacher at Happy Hall Meadows Before & After School and Program Director for our Summer Explorers Program. College attained her Early Childhood Education units from Skyline College and recently graduated from San Francisco State with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development. Colleen has a passion for introducing children to new activities as her goal is to create an educational and FUN learning environment. Colleen is committed to guiding children to be the best versions of themselves. When Colleen is not working at Happy Hall Schools, you will find her outdoors. She loves hiking, kayaking, and enjoying nature. Colleen loves to travel, and as most of the child know, her favorite place to travel is Disneyland.
Lead Teacher & Program Director
Jaden has worked with children for 2 years at Happy Hall. She has also volunteered to assist the children's choir at her church. She is currently attending San Francisco State University as a junior studying Computer Science. She believes int the power of kindness and would like all children to learn and understand the importance of kindness. In her spare time, Jaden likes to read and play video games. She has two puppies named Zelda and Heidi, and she loves spending time with her younger sister.
Julia began her journey at Happy Hall as a volunteer. When Julia began studying at San Francisco State, she joined Happy Hall as a teacher in both our After School and Camp programs. Julia is pursuing her BA in Child Adolescent Development and minoring in Asian American Studies. Julia brings creativity, enthusiasm, and positivity to the classroom through her engaging curriculum. Julia brings the program alive with her intricate props and backdrops. She firmly believes it is important for all children to explore their imagination. In Julia's free time she loves to paint and watch movies.
Jennifer has been at Happy Hall for almost a year now. She has worked at an e-commerce office for 8 years, supporting clients with planning parties and selling party supplies. Her experience with customer service for over 12 years has really helped her become a huge asset to Happy Hall. She is also a certified tax preparer and has studied business administration at San Francisco State University. In her free time Jen likes to spend time with her husband and one year old daughter. She enjoys the beach and finding good restaurants and dessert places.
Marina started with Happy Hall Schools over 20 years ago, working as a teacher at our preschool. In 1999, Marina joined our Happy Hall Meadows Before & After School program, where she is now the director. Children are the center of Marina’s work, and she works hard to create an inclusive and caring environment that support social and emotional growth. This is Marina’s fourth year as Camp Director. Marina works with the Rachel Heck, Program Director to develop curriculum and ensure that the program is safe and appropriate for all of the ages that we serve. Marina attended Skyline college where she received her education in Early Childhood Education. Marina developed both an archery outreach program and Judo programs for children. Marina has a passion for the outdoors and cooking. When Marina is not at work, it’s safe to say you’ll find her running on the Pacific coast or baking something delicious. Marina and her husband have two grown children.
Tiffany has helped at her mom's preschool since 2012 and has been with Happy Hall for over a year. She is currently attending San Francisco State University and is working on getting her Bachelor of Arts degree in Children and Adolescent Development, along with a mathematics minor. Tiffany has a passion for working with school-age children and loves watching them learn new things every day. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and dog.
