We hope you are doing well and enjoying time with your family. As parents are permitted to return to work outside of the home and/or required to work from home, we understand that there is an increased need for child care and we are prepared to meet it. Please see our Interim Care page for children 18 months to 5 years and visit our Camp Happy Hall website for children entering grades TK-6.
Our thoughts continue to be with you while we are all dealing with uncertainty that the COVID-19 virus has created in our lives. We are truly grateful for your compassion, reason, and hope as we work together to get through this challenging situation.
This is, without a doubt, one of the most incredibly difficult times we have ever faced at Happy Hall Schools. While we eagerly await the end of this global health crisis so that we may return to caring for our Happy Hall children, your support has allowed us to stay connected as a team, school, and community.
CHILD CARE FOR ESSENTIAL WORKERS
Happy Hall continues to provide childcare services to essential workers who support our community. Our teachers are dedicated to providing a high level of care while complying with the mandatory conditions outlined in the Shelter in Place Order. Our teachers and children have adapted to frequent hand washing, as well as increased cleaning and disinfecting our classrooms, toys, and equipment. Our teachers are working hard to create a nurturing environment, that allows children to maintain 6 ft. space between them and other children and staff are wearing masks at all times.
In addition to supporting our families currently attending our program, our teachers are continually creating digital content to share with you and your child during this time. Our Parent Resource page on our website has videos, projects, and other resources created by our teachers.
Together - with thoughtfulness, kindness, and understanding - we will make it through this time and come out stronger on the other end.
Your family's health and safety have always been Happy Hall’s top priority.
In addition to our rigorous health and safety measures already taken at our centers, we are also following all recommendations as set out by the Center for Disease Control as well as the California Department of Public Health.
Among these recommendations are:
Washing hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds every time campers wash their hands.
Clean and sanitize frequently used surfaces after every use. If surfaces are dirty, they are cleaned with soap and water first and then sanitized.
Encourage children to avoid touching their faces, especially eyes, nose, and mouth. If these areas are touched, club members will be asked to wash with soap and water.
Encourage respiratory etiquette by coughing or sneezing into elbow or tissue, followed by handwashing.
Maintaining recommended social distancing of six feet.
As COVID-19 is a novel virus, precautionary measures recommended by the CDC are on-going and evolving. The Administrative Team at Happy Hall Schools will regularly review and update all procedures to ensure we stay current and keep our staff, children, and families safe and healthy.
