Director

Frank boasts an impressive 39 years of experience both in the classroom and as a director, with an AA degree including over 32 ECE units. Over his illustrious career, he has held positions as a Regional Manager and Curriculum Specialist, and has even spearheaded the opening of schools for renowned organizations. Frank's expertise extends to intricate knowledge of licensing regulations, training, and exemplary time management. Outside of his professional role, he cherishes gardening, landscaping, cooking, and has a profound love for animals, particularly dogs. Frank lives by the ethos: "Our possibilities are endless... Kindness is free... and you always have a choice. Live your life without regrets."

In December 2020, Paulina graduated from San Francisco State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Child Development with a Minor in Public Health. Her experience with children extends over five years. She's been a lead daycare teacher and a nurturing nanny, gaining insights into the nuanced world of child care. Her enthusiasm for joining Happy Hall and contributing to our community is palpable, promising exciting times ahead. Paulina finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it's spending quality time with friends, cooking, or weightlifting. Paulina's energetic approach to life, coupled with her passion for child development, makes her a valued asset to our team. Brenda is a dedicated member of the Happy Hall team, having joined in 2021. She became our Preschool Lead Teacher in Green Class. With over a decade of experience as a nanny, Brenda has honed her expertise in working with children. After taking a hiatus, she realized her true passion lay in nurturing young minds through education. Currently pursuing her Associates in Latino American studies with a specialized focus on Early Childhood, Brenda is committed to enhancing her knowledge and skills in the field. Outside of her professional pursuits, Brenda's interests span a wide spectrum. She dives into the pages of a good book and takes delight in experimenting with culinary creations during her leisure time. Immersing herself in the vibrant atmosphere of music festivals is a cherished activity that fuels her energy and creativity. Brenda's multifaceted background and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the Happy Hall community.

Ana Parada is an aspiring early childhood educator currently enrolled in the early childhood education program at Diablo Valley College. Ana plans to pursue a master's degree to further enrich her knowledge and skills in the field. Building on her two years of experience at Bright Stars in Concord, Ana brings a wealth of practical insights to her role. As she embarks on her first year at Happy Hall School, her genuine excitement lies in witnessing children flourish and grow, fostering a love for learning from a young age. Beyond the classroom, Ana loves spending cherished moments with her family. Camping adventures, leisurely walks, dancing and the tranquility of the beach hold a special place in her heart.

Dolores brings experience and a genuine passion for working with children to our team. With an impressive 26 years of experience in the field, her journey began in 1994 with the birth of her oldest daughter, which ignited her desire to make a positive impact on young lives. Dolores took proactive steps by pursuing Early Childhood Education units, kickstarting her career as a dedicated preschool teacher. Over time, her dedication and knack for fostering children's growth led her to transition to kindergarten, where she continued to excel in creating nurturing learning environments. However, an adventurous spirit led Dolores to explore the corporate world for a while, embracing a 9-5 schedule. Yet, her heart never truly left her first love – working with children. Dolores returned to her true calling in the past five years. Her reentry into the world of education was marked by a renewed enthusiasm to guide and nurture young minds. Beyond the classroom, Dolores finds joy in her travels, often journeying to her East Coast hometown or exploring the scenic beauty of California, where she enthusiastically cheers on her son during basketball games. Dolores' outlook on life is truly inspiring. She views each day as a blessing and cherishes the opportunities she has to make a difference in the lives of the children she encounters.

Jade began her career in the child care field in 2015, initially entering it somewhat unexpectedly. However, it didn't take long for her to discover the profound joy and fulfillment that comes from working with children, leading her to realize that teaching was not just a job, but her true passion. She is particularly drawn to the natural curiosity of children and thrives on the fact that every day presents a new adventure, a testament to her dedication and love for early childhood education. By 2024, Jade's commitment and passion for her work were recognized when she was appointed as the Director at Happy Hall @ Ocean Shore, a prestigious role that underscores her skills, dedication, and impact in the field of early childhood education. This position allowed her to further influence the development and growth of children in her care, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey. Outside of her work, Jade enjoys a range of activities that reflect her creative and adventurous spirit. She is an avid crafter, finds solace and excitement in hiking, and expresses her love for creativity through cooking and baking. These hobbies not only provide her with personal fulfillment but also enrich her professional practice by incorporating her diverse interests into her work with children. Jade is committed to her professional development, currently holding 12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and actively pursuing further education in the field. This ongoing learning journey highlights her dedication to excellence and her desire to continuously improve her skills and knowledge. Additionally, Jade is CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring she is well-equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children under her care. Her journey from stumbling into the field of child care to becoming a director at Happy Hall @ Ocean Shore is a testament to her passion, dedication, and the positive impact she has on the lives of young learners.

MAURA
Teacher

Maura was born in Managua, Nicaragua. She graduated from UNAN (National Autonomous University of Nicaragua) with a Bachelor’s in Education and a minor in English. She has earned 33 units in ChiId Development. As well as obtaining a Certificate in Administration in Child Development, from City College of San Francisco. She also has a BA in Theology from ELET, to teach Sunday School for adults in her church. Maura has worked with kids for over 20 years, ranging from infants and toddlers to Pre-K. She enjoys chatting with everyone, laughing and dancing at family’s parties.

Her dedication goes far beyond language; Rosa takes pride in nurturing children's holistic development. Whether it's guiding them through social interactions, supporting their emotional growth, encouraging physical milestones, or fostering cognitive abilities, Rosa does so with unwavering love and care. Beyond her professional contributions, Rosa's kindness extends into her community. Weekends find her volunteering and actively participating in her church, embodying her commitment to making a positive impact in various spheres of life.

Jennifer has played an essential role within the Happy Hall family for the past 5 years, leaving a lasting mark through her unwavering commitment and fervor for fostering a nurturing and enriching environment. With a background in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and a wealth of managerial expertise, she brings a unique skill set to her role. Jennifer's leadership and dedication extend not only to our staff but also to the children under her care, enhancing the preschool experience for all involved. Her influence has been instrumental in shaping our community. It's worth noting that Jennifer's personal connection to Happy Hall runs deep; her eldest daughter successfully graduated from our program, and now her youngest daughter eagerly anticipates her own Happy Hall experience come Spring.

Ana brings a wealth of experience to the Happy Hall team, having dedicated over a decade to the early childhood field. Her journey with us began in 2020 in Red Class transitioning to our Preschool Lead for Orange Class where her expertise has shone brightly. Ana Lucia's educational background includes studies at the City College of San Francisco and San Francisco State University, which have helped shape her understanding of child development. Her passion for nurturing young minds ignited during her senior year of high school when she volunteered at a preschool, setting her on a path of commitment to early education. This journey continued as she worked as a babysitter and Spanish tutor for young children, fostering meaningful connections. With a family-oriented approach, Ana Lucia emphasizes the significance of establishing strong emotional bonds with each child under her care. When not engaged in educational pursuits, Ana Lucia finds solace at the beach and joy in the rhythm of Latin dancing.

Angelica, is our Preschool Lead Teacher in Blue Class, joining Happy Hall in 2021. She has a decade-long tenure specializing in preschool education. Her extensive experience includes roles as an art teacher at Genentech 2nd Generation Bright Horizons and Stratford Elementary. Beyond her educational pursuits, Angelica's artistic talents extend into the realm of music. When she's not engaged in teaching, she's immersed in the world of R&B Pop music, using her voice to create harmonious melodies. Her commitment to both education and creative expression make Angelica an invaluable asset to the Happy Hall community.

Betza is a dedicated educator with an impressive 26 years of teaching experience, over four of which have been devoted to early childhood education. Her professional journey includes serving as a lead teacher for 2, 3, and 4-year-old classrooms at His Kids Academy in Louisville, Kentucky. Her commitment to education is underscored by her recent pursuit of ECE courses, further enhancing her expertise. Betza graduated magna cum laude with honors from the UPNFM of Honduras, attaining a bachelor's degree as a Professor in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language. Beyond her academic pursuits, Betza is a proud parent to two daughters, one son, and a joyful three-year-old grandson. Her home is also shared with three pets: Nina (dog), Sarang (cat), and Mei (cat). In her leisure moments, Betza indulges in various activities. Karaoke nights, cooking, and going to the movies. Her passion for early childhood education is underpinned by her belief in its paramount importance in shaping the foundation for a successful life.

She holds an Associates Degree in Child Development and Family Studies, along with diverse qualifications in Administration of Justice, Liberal Arts, and Public Health Education. Her thirst for knowledge and diverse background highlight her commitment to constant growth. Her passion for education and nurturing young minds led her to Kindercare in Palo Alto, where she worked closely with toddlers. During this time, January's commitment to her craft shone through as she pursued and completed her certificate in Early Childhood Education, further enhancing her ability to create impactful learning environments. January's decision to work with children is rooted in her fascination with their behavior and her unwavering embrace of daily challenges. Mayevi, is from Guatemala and with Spanish as her native language, brings a rich cultural perspective to our community. Currently, Mayevi is embarking on her educational journey in Early Childhood Education at Skyline College, with aspirations to earn her Bachelor's and even Master's Degree in the future. Mayevi's journey into the world of childcare began as a babysitter, caring for children aged 2 to 10. Her experience over the past four years has been a stepping stone to her current role at Happy Hall, where she is excited to witness children's development, growth, and language acquisition while having fun. Her interests and passions extend beyond her professional pursuits. Mayevi's heart belongs to her homeland, as she loves traveling through Guatemala and embracing its beauty. Desiree joined Happy Hall in 2020 and has been working with children for 9 years. She started off as an elementary school reading and writing after school tutor. She has also done field work as well as assistant teacher work for Kindergarten and First grade classrooms. Most recently, Desiree graduated from Sonoma State University in December 2021. Earning her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Studies with an emphasis in Education. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. She really enjoys going to the beach, farmer’s markets and trying new foods!

Currently pursuing an Associates of Science degree in Child Education from Theoria Technical College, Minenhle constantly strives to expand her knowledge and skills in order to better serve the children she works with. In her free time, she finds fulfillment by volunteering at a soup kitchen in San Francisco, where she selflessly assists those in need within the community.
